Nocturne meeting of three men in Raszowa resulted in the arrest of one individual. Police officers from the Leśnica Police Station were alerted by a bongo that the men pulled out shortly after arriving at a local street. Upon approaching the group, the officers immediately detected the distinct smell of marijuana. A 31-year-old resident of the Kędzierzyn-Koźle district was found in possession of over 15 portions of the drug.
On Sunday, police officers from Leśnica were patrolling the area around 1:00 AM when they noticed three men who arrived at a location in two cars in Raszowa.
The officers observed the men taking out a bongo used for smoking and preparing to use it. They decided to investigate the reason for the nighttime gathering. As soon as they approached the group, they could smell marijuana.
The police ordered the men to hand over the illegal substances in their possession. The 31-year-old man admitted to having them. Officers discovered 15 portions of marijuana, which were subsequently secured. The gathering was interrupted before it could properly start.
The 31-year-old was arrested and taken to the District Police Headquarters in Strzelce Opolskie, where he was placed in custody. He will face charges for possession of illegal drugs, which could result in a sentence of up to three years in prison.
